Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These terms apply to your use of Agad, the trail app for iPhone, Android and Apple Watch, and this website. By downloading or using Agad you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Using Agad
Agad is free to use. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the app store you got it from.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password. Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
Safety on the trail
Agad is a navigation aid, not a safety device. GPS position, distance, elevation, climb, arrival estimates, routes to a trailhead and off-trail alerts can be inaccurate or unavailable — because of signal, terrain, weather, battery, device settings or errors in map and route data.
- Always carry a paper map, compass or other backup, and know how to use them.
- Check conditions, plan your route, and tell someone where you're going.
- Don't rely on off-trail alerts or estimates to keep you safe. Trails shown or imported may be closed, private, dangerous or no longer exist.
- Don't use the app while driving, and stay aware of your surroundings.
You take part in outdoor activities at your own risk and are responsible for your own decisions and safety.
Health and fitness data
Heart rate, pace and other figures shown in Agad or saved to Apple Health are for general information only. They are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose or treat any condition.
Your content
Trails you record, GPX files you import and photos you use for share images belong to you. They are stored on your device, and you are responsible for backing them up. Only import or share files you have the right to use.
Third-party services
Agad uses services from others, including Mapbox (maps, offline maps and walking directions), Google Firebase (sign-in), and Apple Health on Apple Watch. Their use is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Map data is © Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors. We aren't responsible for the availability or accuracy of these services.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or stop parts of Agad at any time, and may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Agad after a change means you accept the updated terms.
No warranty
Agad is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Agad and its developer are not liable for any injury, loss, damage or cost arising from your use of the app or reliance on its information — including getting lost, injured, or losing recorded data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending use
You can stop using Agad at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the app or breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
